BRING IT ON!  Carol is a certified Wilderness First Responder. She has been a hiking guide in the Ojai Valley for over 16 years. We welcome all fitness levels.

Are you looking for a hiking adventure but concerned you are not as fit as you should be to join a group? Design a hiking package of your own, as an individual or with your friends. Trails, details, distances and elevations can all be accommodated for at the level of fitness that meets your needs while you enjoy and grow stronger.

YOGA

We make YOGA a playful fun practice while holding it with reverence and spirit. Whether on the mat with dynamic sounds and music, or in hiking boots in the quiet mountains, yoga nurtures flexibility of the body, mind and spirit. Beginners and all levels of experience welcomed.

Note from Carol

I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years. I originally felt drawn to it because of the peace and confidence I observed in the posture of people who practiced regularly. With my athletic nature, I felt inflexible and tight in my body and mind. Yoga for me became a wilderness adventure on the mat, one of discovery, realization, and patience!  I teach moving through postures with curiosity, playfulness, and respect while understanding opening comes when we are ready.  I have studied many styles and forms of yoga. For me, it is about connecting more with your body, your higher self and the world around you while moving with ease through life. Though yoga can be expressive, daring and playful in nature, I also welcome the gentle ease of stretching on flat ground or a mat. Introducing someone new to yoga is an honor and a privilege.
